No "Risk-Free" Level of Smoking

According to the most recent Surgeon General's report, there is no "risk-free" level of exposure to cigarette smoke--with even small amounts causing damage to your lungs, heart, and DNA (leading to cancer). However, the report also states that quitting smoking (even after years of use) can reverse some of this damage.
