Heart Attacks Drop after Indoor Smoking Bans -- October 12, 2009
Two recent studies have documented a decrease in heart attacks following the implementation of indoor smoking bans. One study author estimated that a nationwide indoor smoking ban could prevent 100,000 to 225,000 heart attacks. Read more here.

No More Candy Cigarettes - October 12, 2009
Starting September 23rd, the use of fruit or candy flavors will be prohibited from being used in cigarettes. The FDA, now able to regulate tobacco products, believes this will help reduce the number underage smokers. Read more here.
